Their taproom is welcoming and you can tell they have spent a lot of time making this a place to enjoy a good beer with friends. They have outside seating too when the weather is nice. My favorite beer that was available was a black Hefeweizen “Oil Toppin”. Not many black hefs out there, and this one was well balanced. They are starting out small and really perfecting their quality and recipes. If you are ever out in Winnsboro or in East Texas, I definitely would recommend going by and saying “Hi” to Mike and the crew at Cypress Creek Southern Ales.
